Food Pantry

Time Commitment: whatever money or time you have to give

The Coxsackie Community Food Pantry delivers! Free food is available to residents of Coxsackie, Climax, Earlton, Medway & New Baltimore. Anyone who needs food can get it — there are no low-income requirements.

In the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors, the Pantry invites our entire community to join our work by donating time, money, services or nonperishable food. Volunteers are needed for sorting, shelving, trucking, and shopping for food and personal care products, as well as for serving the Pantry’s clientele.

Financial contributions offer a great benefit to the Pantry. Through an agreement with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, the Pantry is able to buy 10 to 20 times more food with each dollar received, compared to food purchased by donors at retail prices. Funding is also welcome for purchasing locally produced foods to support both Greene County agriculture as well as people in crisis.
