Catherine Beecher

Cathy joined St. Mary's parish in 1990 when she and her husband decided to move to his home town.  Raising two children and working part time as a pharmacist took up much of her week.  She originally started subbing for Religious Ed teachers and eventually taught religion weekly, until stepping back in 2016.
: John Cox

John Cox

John is originally from Grand Haven, Michigan and began attending St. Mary’s when he moved to the area in 2013. Outside of church John works in the biotech industry and is a volunteer assistant wrestling coach at the local high school. He is happily married and a father of 3 sons who are all involved with St. Mary’s as well. John is honored to serve his community and to be a member of the Pastoral Council.

William "Bill" Gates

Bill and his family have been members of St Mary's Church since moving to the area in 2008. Bill is quite active in the community and is also a member of the board of directors and the Treasurer for Coxsackie Athens Little League, as well as being an Advisory Council Member for Siena College's Athletic Department's, "Saints Alive". In addition to serving on the Parish Council, Bill and his wife Kathryn are also Eucharist Ministers and their daughter, Emily is an Alter Server.

Joseph Konopka

Joe has worked in the restaurant business for 36 years, owning and operating a local landmark, Reds Restaurant, for the last twenty. He is an avid outdoorsman and record album collector with a love of baseball that inspired him to coach travel youth teams for several years. Joe is thrilled to be a member of the St. Mary’s community and is particularly honored to bring his honest and unique perspective to the parish council.
: Seth Mann

Seth Mann

Seth came to Saint Mary's and the Catholic Church as a convert several years ago. Seth learned early that he was drawn to the Church to serve, not to be served. He now helps the Ministries of Buildings and Grounds, Youth Ministry, Lector, and the Pastoral Counsel. Seth enjoys great joy and comfort for all that the Church and Parish have given him, and will continue to respond when called.
: Carol A. Metz

Carol A. Metz

Carol’s hometown is Binghamton, NY.  She graduated from Cortland State College and then received her Master’s in Math Education from Manhattanville College.  Carol and Gary were married in 1973 and in 1980 they were blessed with twin daughters.  Being a teacher was always Carol’s dream and she lived her dream for 40 years teaching math in the Yonkers School District and then Westchester Community College.  Carol is now enjoying her retirement on the lake in Sleepy Hollow where she is the founder and chairperson of Helping Hands.  She also spends her time delivering Homebound Meals, volunteering in the Coxsackie Food Pantry, bringing communion to the homebound, being a co-chair of the Elders Task Force and being a member of our Pastoral Council.  Being involved in church life was always a priority.

Désirée Pacuk

Désirée has been a parishioner of St. Mary’s church since she moved to the area in 1989. Désirée has been been a teacher for over 33 years. She has volunteered at St. Mary’s as a catechist. Désirée is enjoying her time on the pastoral council.
: Mary Jean Willis

Mary Jean Willis

Mary Jean has been a member of St. Mary’s parish since 1982, when she married and started to raise a family. Her ministries at St Mary’s dovetailed with her family life; catechist and youth minister while her children were home. More recently as Eucharistic Minister and the Bereavement Ministry.
